Oh, what a joy it is to be with all the believers in the local churches around the world. There are so many good experiences we can have with all the Christian brothers and sisters in the church.
I was raised up a in a Christian family. I still remember when I was about 3 or 4 years, my Dad told me stories about Jesus and also other stories from the Bible. I felt the love my parents had for all of us children and for the Lord as I grew up. At around 10 years of age I opened my heart to the Lord and asked Him to take control of my life. As a child I loved the Lord Jesus and would do my best to do good and to obey my parents. I learned how to pray and to confess my sins. A verse in the Bible says that if we confess our sins the Lord is faithful and righteous to forgive. As I grew up I also learned that to please the Lord is not just about doing good and obeying. What the Lord really wants is for us to express Him and enjoy Him as the bread of life (John 6:48) and the water of life that we may grow unto maturity (Hebrews 6:1).
There have been some times when I didn’t know why things had to be the way they were. Sometimes I just wanted to run away from the Lord and His believers. I didn’t want to be different from the people around me. But I praise the Lord that He always has a way for me and that He brought me to the local church. The Lord never leaves or forsakes us. I just realized that there is nothing on earth that could satisfy me more than to be with the brothers and sisters in the local church. Nothing is more satisfying than to enjoy Christ with all the believers in the local churches. I just praise the Lord for all the believers who love me and care for me. Again I say, the only real satisfaction there is for me is to enjoy all the riches of Christ (Ephesians 3:8) with all the believers in the local churches.
