My experience has been so positive regarding the ministries of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. I am a student at the University of Texas at Austin. The ministry books written by Witness Lee and Watchman Nee have had a great impact on my Christian life during my college years. I would read their books as I walked between classes or had a break during work. Reading these materials caused me to refocus my being on the Lord Jesus throughout the day. I was always fed and strengthened to turn to the Lord during my day. Witness Lee and Watchman Nee’s ministry is faithful to the Bible and focused on Christ and His purpose. Therefore, when I have opened up my heart to the Lord to shine on me concerning His desire, the words of the ministry have spoken to me and nourished me. It has caused me to hunger for the Lord and the Bible, and to want to give myself to the Lord. The words I have read in their books have been so healthy. I feel like I have a clearer understanding of the Bible. Their ministries have also made me not want to care so much for myself, but to care for the Lord Jesus, other Christians, and unbelievers.

Some of the books by these two writers that I have read are The Normal Christian Life, The All-Inclusive Christ, and The Economy of God. The Normal Christian Life by Watchman Nee helped me to understand what I was experiencing of the Lord as I grew in the Christian life. It was such a timely help to me. The All-Inclusive Christ by Witness Lee showed me that Christ was everything and my reality. It showed me that Christ is the “good land” to be enjoyed and experienced in every situation. The Economy of God by Witness Lee gave me a view of what the eternal purpose of God is. That view has caused me to continually direct my life and living toward that goal. I thank the Lord for giving such servants who sought the will of the Lord.
