I was a Catholic for thirty years. Every Sunday I would go to church. I would try to follow the rules that the church had because that’s what my family did. In all that time, I never opened a Bible (not even one time) because they would say it was better if I didn’t. I’d go to church but I never felt satisfied. I felt like I was going to any reunion or party.

Living in Austin I met a neighbor from the same complex. We started talking. And after a few times of bumping into each other he invited my family and I to a picnic. Everything was fine until he started talking about the Bible. I thought to myself “Nope, if it’s not Catholic it’s no good. That’s the way I was raised to think. We kept talking and decided we’d jog together. Every time we’d run he’d read something from the Bible. After a few times it started grabbing my attention. Until finally one day I received the Lord and got saved.

In just one year that I have been in the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee my life has changed for the better. I thank the Lord for being so merciful to me and for putting the local church in Austin in my life.
